Ingredients


  • 2 cup – Lengthy grain Rice
  • 1 cup- entire sprouted Masoor
  • 2 Onions, reduced lengthwise
  • 2 Tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 or 2 chilies
  • 1 tablespoon- Ginger, Garlic paste
  • 1 mug mixed carrots, peas, haricot beans
  • 1 tablespoon haldi
  • 1 tablespoon cold powder
  • 3 cloves
  • 8 peppercorns
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 inch cinnamon stick
  • 3 tablespoon – Oil
  • 1 tablespoon – Jeera.
  • Salt to taste.

Method


  1. Wash and soak Masoor Dal in cold water for 3 to 4 hrs prior to you utilize it for the pulao.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan on a medium fire.
  3. Include bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves, black peppercorns, cumin seeds and onion to the oil. Include salt and also mix them well.
  4. Once the onion is gold brownish, include ginger garlic paste and also sauté for couple of seconds.
  5. Include the drained masoor dal, carrots, beans and green peas to the mixture.
  6. Include turmeric and also red chili powder together with green chilies. Offer it a mix.
  7. Include soaked lengthy grain rice together with salt and also mix them well.
  8. Include water in addition to tomatoes and leave it to cook till the water vaporizes.
  9. Once the water vaporizes, cover it with a lid and allow it to cook for another 5 to 7 minutes.

  1. Mix onions, tomatoes, green chilies with salt and curd.
  2. Keep the raita to cool in fridge for few minutes and then offer together with masoor pulao.
