Paryushan Mixed Dal Dosa Recipe by Dawat-E-Swaad

Paryushan Mixed Dal Dosa Recipe Recipes

Serves3-5 People

Ingredients:-


  • ½ cup Rice soaked for 4 hours,
  • 2 tablespoon Chana Dal soaked for 4 hours,
  • 2 tablespoon Moong Dal soaked for 4 hours
  • 2 tablespoon Tuvar Dal soaked for 4 hours,
  • 1 teaspoon. Red chilli powder,
  • 1 pinch of Turmeric powder,
  • ¼ teaspoon Cumin seed powder,
  • ¼ teaspoon Asafoetida (heeng),
  • ½ teaspoon Raw mango powder (Aamchur Powder),
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar,
  • 1 Tablespoon ghee (or you can use oil too),
  • Salt as per taste.

Method:-


  1. Drain out all the water from the soaked ingredients.
  2. Now grind them with dry spices, 1 teaspoon red chilli powder, one pinch turmeric powder, 1/4th cumin seed powder, ½ teaspoon raw mango powder, 1/4the teaspoon asafoetida, 1 teaspoon sugar and grind them for 2 minutes. Don’t add any water now.
  3. Now add little water not too much, and grind it into to a coarse paste. (remember do not make very fine paste, you should feel granules in paste)
  4. Transfer the paste into a bowl and add salt as per taste and mix well.
  5. For making Dosa, Heat a pan.
  6. Place full of 1 tablespoon dosa paste on the pan and spread it. Cook this on low flame.
  7. Now apply some ghee or oil on dosa.
  8. Cover with lid and let it cook until brown edges are visible.
  9. When you see brown edges remove lid and Flip over and cook for a minute on the other side.
  10. When it’s cook completely fold it and place it on plate. And ready to serve.
  11. To make a next Dosa the pan should be cool. Clean the pan with a wet cloth to cool down the pan.
