Veg Lasagna Recipe – Indian Italian Fusion Recipe

Lasagna is one of the oldest types of pasta. The word also refers to a dish made with several layers of lasagna sheets alternated with sauces and various other ingredients. Serves3-4 People

Ingredient:-


For the Filling:-

1 tablespoon Butter
1 small Onion (chopped)
1 & 1/2 cup Tomato Puree
1/2 red and green bell pepper
Zucchini & Mushroom
1 cup Spinach (chopped)
Few Basil Leaves
Parboiled Baby Corn, Carrot, Yellow Corn & French Beans
2 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
1 teaspoon Garlic Paste
1 teaspoon Sugar
Salt as per taste

For the White Sauce:

Mother dairy fresh cream
1 tablespoon Butter
Oregano
Crushed Black Pepper
Salt as per taste

For Pasta Layer:

Oil
3 Pasta Sheets
Cheese (Soft Cheddar and Mozzarella)
Salt as per taste

Method:


  1. Heat up a pan on gas and add butter into it
  2. Now add chopped onion and let it cook for couple of minutes just don’t let them brown.
  3. Add 1 teaspoon garlic paste stir it for few seconds then add green and red chopped pepper and mix them well for a minute.
  4. Next add chopped zucchini and mushrooms mix them well and let them cook for one minute.
  5. Now add some parboiled baby corn, carrot, yellow corn and French beans and mix them as well for a minute.
  6. Add 1 cup chopped spinach and few basil leaves and stir them.
  7. One the spinach become soft add 1 & ½ cup of tomato puree and cook this till it dries out.
  8. Add 2 teaspoon red chili, 1 teaspoon sugar and salt as per taste.
  9. Once the tomato puree dies out turn off the flame and keep the mixture aside.
  10. For making white sauce you can use mother dairy fresh cream just take a bowl and add some fresh cream in it.
  11. Add salt to taste, oregano, 1 tablespoon butter and some crushed black pepper and mix these all ingredient well. Your white sauce is ready.
  12. For making pasta sheets in a bowl add 1cup plain flour, 1 teaspoon oil, pinch of baking powder and little bit of salt and make a dough with water.
  13. Roll out thin sheet and cut it accordingly to your baking dish and roast them on non-stick pan without any oil or butter for 20 seconds from both the sides.
  14. In a large pot or bowl boil some water then add 1 tablespoon of oil in it and little salt .
  15. Place the pasta sheet one at a time in the pot for 30 seconds from both the sides
  16. Take out the pasta sheet carefully on dry napkin to dry out extra moisture.
  17. Now the filling, sauce and pasta sheet are ready next we will assemble them.
  18. Grease the baking tray with little butter.
  19. Place one pasta sheet and place some filling on it and sprinkle some cheese.
  20. Place another sheet and spread the vegetable filling on the sheet and spread some cheese on it.
  21. Place third layer of sheet and spread the vegetable filling on the sheet and spread some cheese on it.
  22. Place last and another layer of sheet and pour the white sauce on it make sure that the sauce goes to bottom.
  23. Bake the lasagna in a pre-heated oven at 180 c for 10 minutes and remove it out and sprinkle some more cheese and cook it for another 15 minutes.
